Rhiannon + Andrew
Rhiannon and Andrew wanted a Wedding that was very laid-back, rustic and country style, with lots of beautiful Spring wildflowers. Their Ceremony was held on the patio at Swallowfield Vineyards on a sunny November afternoon (which also just happened to be Remembrance Day).
Following the Ceremony, vintage caravan bar The Wandering Woodsman served drinks outside, followed by a spit roast lunch in the nearby Barn with ALL the trimmings. Tables were styled with crisp white cloths, navy blue napkins and assorted blue and white floral runners, made with love by the Bride and her Mum. Jars and bottles of colourful wildflowers were scattered down the long tables and throughout the venue. As a thoughtful touch, red poppy pins on little cards for Remembrance Day were placed at each place setting on the tables. Dessert included sponge cake with fresh raspberries and cream, a lolly bar and plenty of delicious home-made slices and treats served with cups of tea in pretty vintage china.
Guests enjoyed the afternoon lounging on the sprawling lawns on pretty quilts made by Rhiannon and her Mum, playing lawn games and listening to fabulous acoustic duo Brendan and Sabrina.
