Katherine + Adam
Katherine and Adam dreamt of a relaxed rustic country wedding with lots of beautiful colourful Spring wildflowers. They were married at Swallowfield Vineyards in November in front of a huge old oak tree. Katherine carried a bouquet of pretty wildflowers, while her three Bridesmaids each wore dresses in different soft pastel tones.
Following the Ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks and canapés on the patio under the shady trees. Styling and props in the nearby Barn were kept minimal and neutral toned, with lots of lovely raw timber and rustic finishes. The long tables were laid with beautiful oatmeal coloured linen cloths and ivory linen napkins. Little timber slices were placed on each folded napkin, holding place-cards with vintage-style keys attached. Lots of bottles and jars of pretty flowers provided the colour on the tables and throughout the venue. A kid’s area was set up on the end of one of the tables, with lolly jars and colouring activities to keep the little ones entertained. Overhead festoon lights and floral and lace bunting criss-crossed the room. The 2-tiered naked wedding cake was styled with fresh flowers and foliage. Guests were thrilled when an ice-cream van arrived to serve dessert, which was enjoyed on the lawns playing lawn games. The sweet personalised cookies in little gold boxes tied with dainty ribbons were a lovely touch for everyone to take home with them.
