Kate & Ryan
A heart-shaped floral wreath on the trunk of a huge oak tree provided the backdrop for Kate and Ryan’s ceremony at Swallowfield Vineyards in February. The canopy of the old oak provided welcome shade on a very warm afternoon. The couple’s much loved dogs were walked down the aisle wearing smart red leads and bow ties, carrying matching cushions bearing the wedding rings. Kate carried a large bouquet of gorgeous red, burgundy and white flowers.
The long tables inside the nearby Barn were styled with garlands of fresh gum and delicate white baby’s breath, with jars of twinkling tea-lights scattered among them. Lots of pretty floral arrangements in red, burgundy, white and green were placed throughout the venue and on the vintage wine barrels either side of the entrance. We styled their pretty layered fondant cake of white chocolate & raspberry AND chocolate mud-cake with fresh flowers and foliage. Kate & Ryan surprised everyone with an energetic and very impressive first dance. Guests were gifted sweet little jars of home-made Chutney.
