Chantelle + Matt

The pine forest at Swallowfield Vineyards provided the perfect backdrop and shade for Chantelle and Matt’s Ceremony, on a warm 34 degree day in early February. This rockabilly inspired wedding was a day filled with colour and fun for this vibrant couple and their loved ones. The Bride wore a gorgeous 50’s inspired dress of ivory coloured vintage lace and tulle, with a red petticoat, handmade by her talented sister. Guests were encouraged to sit close by on the lawn during the Ceremony, with a vintage suitcase filled with rugs and quilts for “front row seating”. Pretty carved bamboo fans were provided to help guests cool down and there were bubbles with sweet personalised messages. Our Birch Arbour was styled with vintage lace and red and white florals. The Winery, set in an old stables, was styled with lots of personal touches, vintage crystal vases, lace runners and doilies. The ‘Bridal Lounge’ of vintage leather and velvet lounges provided the perfect view of all the dance-floor action, which was helped along by a rocking five-piece band. Our bespoke fabric and lace backdrop in the Bridal Lounge was designed to soften the space and carry the red and white colour palette through.
