Chantelle + Leigh

A vibrant colour palette gave us plenty of creative scope to really have some fun designing Chantelle’s 40th Birthday celebration and this fun-loving couple’s surprise Wedding. The Winery at Swallowfield Vineyards was styled to look like a party, using a palette of orange, yellow, green & purple (the colours of the four Bridesmaid’s shoes and bouquets). The venue was styled with a sea of colourful balloons – including a 5.5 metre balloon garland – streamers and ribbons. Tables were set out informally with black table linen to really make the brightly coloured floral arrangements pop. Guests were most surprised when they were ushered over to a secluded Ceremony location, under the shade of a huge old oak tree. Our Birch Arbour was adorned with brightly coloured florals, the aisle chairs were styled with flowers and trailing ribbons, wicker and wooden hearts hung from the boughs of the old oak tree overhead and large colourful floral arrangements were positioned on vintage wine barrels either side of the aisle. The Bridesmaid’s wore black dresses, each with shoes in a different bright colour and carrying matching bouquets. The Bride’s bouquet was a vibrant combination of all of these colours with pretty multi-coloured trailing ribbons. Whilst the Ceremony was underway, some wedding related props were incorporated into the styling around the venue, which had been kept hidden from view so as not to spoil the surprise.
