Alexandra + Angus
Alexandra and Angus were married at Swallowfield Vineyards in late Autumn, when the trees and vineyard were all awash with the most amazing colour. Their wedding photos – shot by Gavin Cato Photography – around the venue’s extensive property, are truly something. With a brief for “rustic elegance”, we designed and styled a 3+ metre floral backdrop for behind the bridal table, featuring David Austin Roses in shades of pink, peach and white, lisianthus, crysanthemums, trailing ivy & peppercorn dripping with delicate pink berries. A pathway of pink rose petals led the way across the gently sloping lawn to the Ceremony location. Our Birch Arbour provided a pretty backdrop for the signing table and was also adorned with roses, peppercorn and trailing ivy. A lovely old vintage suitcase was filled with paper cones of fresh rose petals for guests to shower the newlyweds with after the Ceremony. Mason jars with pretty satin ribbons were filled with beautiful flowers, scattered throughout the Winery along with twinkling tea-lights in glass jars.
